Two things...I've been on this green smoothie/juice kick. I love it and I really believe it has played a major roll in my having lost the 7 additional pounds since my cleanse last month. I've become so serious about it that I've purchased a VitaMix machine and am sooooo happy with the results so far. That is the smoothie mix in the VitaMix in the fourth picture below. I also purchased some algae powders and barley grass powder to put into my smoothies for extra potency and vitamin intake. I don't take daily vitamins so I need to make sure that I get all I need from the food I eat. So update, I've lost 19 pounds. I don't have a tape measure so I don't know about my inches. LOL OOOOHHH, the second thing!!! :-D I got new shoes! YAAAAYYY and I'm so in love. HAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!! One pair of heals and my first real pair of boots (by real I mean a pair I will actually wear on a regular basis and that are casual sheek). I am over the moon right now. Well, that's all for now. God bless and *smooches
You must give to receive and I am waiting on God for breakthrough. So I am letting go and letting God take what he may so that he can give me everything I need.

17 pounds lighter and on my way
It is now November 1, 2010. Many months from my last blog post, but oh well, I'm new at this. I am now 4 months sisterlocked, 17 pounds lighter, and really working on that relationship with God.
Well, my mother and I elected to do the Master Cleanse (Lemonaide Diet) about 3 weeks ago. I lost 12 pounds while doing the cleanse and my mother lost 10 I believe. Afterward we both were not only able to maintain but continue to loose. By completely revamping our eating habits, we have not only lost weight, but we've truly realized how food can either positively or negatively effect your body and energy level. We are definitely eating more vegetables and green leafy ones at that. By experimentation and patience we are finding new and tasty ways to dress up a salad without adding a billion calories to it. Also, we don't deny ourselves anything. We still eat sugar, butter, and fats...the only difference is we now eat them in moderation. Portion control is the key. I do most of the cooking, so I make sure that I only make enough...no room for temptations for second helpings. LOL NOW, it's all about incorporating exercise into our daily lives successfully.
